Holyrood Park Remediation

Monday, June 13th has been set as the start date for remediation work in our park this summer.

SG Landscaping will be completing some remediation on the park as per the one-year warranty on their work. The fixes include sodding the flat areas surrounding the bike bumps and the bumps themselves will be re-sodded/watered in for more permanent turf durability. In response to safety concerns, the gravel path will also be rerouted so that it doesn’t exit the bumps directly onto the busy toddler play area of the sidewalk.

Additionally, the former construction staging area (adjacent to the parking lot & spray deck) will be brought back to pre-construction condition by either sodding or aggressive seeding and watering.

Fencing will be going up to completely close off the bike bumps area starting June 13^th – and will likely remain up for several weeks over the summer. Short term pain for long term gain!
