The board has monthly meetings, which are in person at the hall with an option for remote for those who are under the weather or out of town. The meetings last approximately 1.5 hours, and we have 10 meetings per year (we take the summer off!) Board members are required to attend 8 of the 10 meetings per year.

Sport, Health & Wellness Director

Are you passionate about promoting health and wellness in your community? Do you see a need for programs or events that support physical and mental well-being? If so, this role is for you!

The Wellness Director plays a key role in creating and supporting initiatives that keep our community healthy and thriving. From organizing fitness classes to mental health workshops, this position is perfect for someone who wants to make a real impact.

This role also works closely with the Programs Director and Events Director, offering support and collaboration on a variety of community activities.

Rink Coordinator

Do you love winter and our community rink? If so, this position might be perfect for you!

The Rink Coordinator plays a vital role in keeping our rink running smoothly during the winter season. Responsibilities include hiring and managing Rink Shack Attendants, coordinating with the Ice Maker, and serving as the key liaison between the board and rink operations.

Additional duties include:

  • Overseeing compensation for Rink Shack Attendants
  • Managing rink lighting as needed
  • Arranging equipment maintenance and replacements
  • Ensuring the rink is safe, welcoming, and well-maintained for all users
