Holyrood Gardens January 19 Open House Summary
Thank you to everyone who attended the January 19 Holyrood Gardens redevelopment open house put on by Regency Developments and Stantec. For those who were unable to attend, here is a summary of what was presented:
The developer presented two possible options for the redevelopment; both involve seven towers of varying heights with a combined total of approximately 1,200 units.
Option A involves narrower towers from 10 to 22 stories in height lining 85 St.
Option B involves wider but shorter towers from 12 to 20 stories in height spread across more of the site.
See the photos below from the open house showing both options and their impacts, and some of the feedback provided by community residents:
All information regarding this proposal that has been provided so far can be found at the Holyrood Gardens Redevelopment page.
At this point, the developer has not yet submitted their rezoning proposal to the city; feedback is still being collected by Anna Moir at Stantec. Anna may be reached at 780-917-7412 or anna.moir@stantec.com
We will continue to provide updates and notices of future public engagement opportunities as they become available via our website, Facebook, Twitter, and our email mailing list.
