The board has monthly meetings, which are in person at the hall with an option for remote for those who are under the weather or out of town. The meetings last approximately 1 hour, and we have 10 meetings per year (we take the summer off!) Board members are required to attend 8 of the 10 meetings per year.


Position Descriptions

Sport, Health & Wellness Director

The gist of it – This director helps with programs or events that promote wellness in our community.
A Deeper Look – Do you see a need for an activity or event that would help our community with their physical or mental wellness? Then this is the position for you! Arranging skating meetups with fire pits and hot chocolate in the winter, or championing the Bike Parade and Bike month in June, this position is a catch-all for keeping our community healthy! This position provides assistance to the Programs Director and the Events Director as needed as well. Come join our team!


Rink Coordinator

The gist of it – Find and hire rink shack attendants in the winter, liaise between the board and the ice maker.
A Deeper Look – Do you love winter and our rink? Then this position may be for you! Responsible for coordinating with the Ice Maker, hiring Rink Shack Attendants for the season and their compensation, as well as occasionally turning the lights at the rink on or off. Arranging maintenance for equipment and replacing older rink equipment and accessories also falls under this position.
